We came to A Dong Silk Tailors because we wanted to get some suits made for my partner. We have had tailored made suits before and so expectation is extremely high. A Dong Silk Tailors certainly did not disappoint and is number 1 for a reason.
The girl who helped us was Khanh and she was friendly, knowledgable and approachable. She showed us the range of materials, gave great advice and was not pushy and did not try to upsell at all. The experience was an awesome one for us. We got great premium quality suits at an extremely reasonable price.
The service and expertise and knowledge of the team at A Dong Silk tailors is extremely high.
The attention to detail is far superior than many others. They double checked and then tripled checked every single measurement to ensure that they don't miss anything, and even then went as far as getting not only 1 but 2 tailors to come and check again to ensure all the adjustments are correct - this is greatly appreciated - thank you. At the first fitting, it was extremely well made anyway but these tailors are pedantic at getting it right and even doing small adjustments to ensure this is tailored made and well fitted in every possible way.
The knowledge of the team and particularly Khanh on current trends was brilliant. I have faith and trust in them as they provided great advice on what colours and tones and style is the best suited to you. I had a little chuckle whilst I was waiting when I over heard another customer questioning them on what they suggested but the advice they gave was spot on and was what I would've said myself and I wanted to say "just listen to them, you are in great hands."
A Dong Silk Tailors don't do major advertising because they rely on word of mouth more so than anywhere else. They don't have tour groups dropping off bus loads of tourists. This is one of the reasons that they rely on providing great customer service and great products - if you are after getting quality tailor made clothing this is the place to be. Their prices are reasonable although some may feel they are more expensive than other places but the service and the quality makes up for it.
